DUST! DUST EVERYWHERE!!! :o(

Thread Starter
Ok, so I am having a major dust problem. I have to clean the CPU cooler every few days, and it's driving me nuts.

Here is my setup:

400

The top and two fronts are all the stock fans that came with the case. The bottom fan on the front is a 140 not a 120. The Kaze in the back is set to 50% because it's so ungodly loud. lol

I have the "filters" on the front that came with the case. But I'm gathering massive amounts of dust. The case is on my desktop 2 and half feet of the floor.

Any suggestions on how to rearrange it? I also have another 120mm Kaze that I'm not using if it would help.

Yea dust, its everywhere, sounds like u have carpet in the room, probably not much u can actually do about it apart from vacuuming regularly and dusting. Maybe turning down the front fans will attract less dust but be worst for cooling...

Yes, I do have carpet, and I vacuum regularly. It's a rental, or I would just rip the carpet out and put down some linoleum or tile.

put fan filters on your intakes, and clean them once a week.

Or, get an air purifier. If your computer's in a small room, it should be sufficient, if not, well... If you have central air, also make sure your fan/furnace filters are being replaced regularly. Might want to invest in some better ones if you have allergies too.

Humidifier works too.

Saw an article about hacking a small one on Life Hacker.
