I wouldn't even care if it was just cosmetic and actually worked; I'd send it right back to them. A customer should never be settle for anything less than what they paid for in the first place. Even though I have experienced slight bends, I have never seen anything that bad straight from RMA

bend them back, shouldn't be too difficult and tighten the screws. It may have been the courier company but ASUS are probably going to say it wasn't them. Not worth the hassle mate.

They bent and scuffed my motherboard and sent it back to me. SMH They did give me an advanced RMA afterwards when I complained. Oh, if you call them...try to get to a higher tier support. They actually speak perfect English and WILL take care of you. The first person I talked to sounded foreign and did not know how to communicate with a customer properly.

That happened to me during the rma of my 6970.....As soon as I received the package- the box didn't look right..I took pictures of me opening it and they packed it very bad causing the bracket to be bent and I was furious mad.gif Called them within 20 minutes of Fedex dropping off the package- they requested pictures and within 15 mins I had a advanced RMA. Next morning I got an e-mail saying that they don't have the card in stock to ship to me- so I had to go through a standard RMA. However the new card was new- different serial number and didn't appear to be used and they packaged it very well thumb.gif

Just send it back. With the bracket like that you won't be able to put it into the PCI slot to test it out the functionality of the card anyways. Unless you like unmounting your whole motherboard I wouldn't even take the responsibility of bending back in risk of having the same issues before RMA. Looks like some factory worker just dropped it by accident then put your card in the warranty denied pile.

Problem is I don't have tools to bend it back (I live on campus) and the box came in perfect condition!

Ouch mad.gif That does not look like something that could have happened during shipping unless the card was packed really bad and was kicked like a hacky sack to your door.

RMA'ed a MSI 6970 Lightning. I was so concerned about shipping damage I took pics of the card from every angle on top of the USA Today newspaper. Showed the Date, the headline and my UPS drop off ticket showed the same date. proof of what the card looked like..

A far as your issue, sucks but readily fixable.

I would write a complaint, get a ticket on file and fix it yourself.
