[battlefieldo] Blackout Battlefield - Page 10

Pfft...whatever. People whine entirely too much. There are issues with the game, yes. Are they worth throwing a childish temper tantrum over? No. Get over it and enjoy the game as it is or don't play the damn thing. Purchasing a game doesn't entitle you to have a say so in the development or communication habits of the developer.

3. All the other dumbass bugs... falling damage - mav riding - net code - artifacting(not entirely DICE's fault)
Easy things that should have been implemented/fixed to begin with. Or don't release it.

Uhmm lets see ......
VOIP ? why would you want that anyway ? to have all the morons scream at you and call you noob , hacker or much more offensive names ?
What's the problem with TS, Mumble or Vent ? , that said i don't mind VOIP as long as i can disable it.
Battlerecorder ? yea this could prove usefull but it it really an issue ? it's an extra not a day 1 must have feature.
Net code ???? lol wut ? BF3 netcode is by far the best netcode on any multiplayer out there , it's balanced out so low pingers can't use it to their advantage.
It makes me no difference if i play in New York , London , Berlin , Paris, or Moscow maybe if I'd play in Bejing it would make a difference but net code is great.
Just to compare if i play COD4 on server in Londo with 22 Ping i literally run between the bullets , it feels like effin Matrix not COD and after a round ot two people strat screaming hacker !! hacker !!
MAV riding ? I don't mind that if anything i find it rather amusing tongue.gif
Only things that need addressing are falling damage which is rather ridiculous and texture flicker when you load the first map (it goeas away on the next one or upon restart) thta's all that immidietly comes to my mind , are those such a HUGE problems to make somekind of pathetic attempt at protest ?
Seriously those people just make themselves look like bunch of spoiled brats that's all , EA/DICE pays them no attention whatsoever and the're right.
Bunch of nerds throwing a hissy fit ...................... this is exaclty what's wrong with PC gaming.

Game seems fine to me. Not sure what the big deal is?
Eh, seems a bit silly to me. I'm seeing too much "Occupy this" and "Blackout that" crap as of late. You know, the first one or two actually meant something, now people are using it as an excuse for any trivial thing they don't agree with.

But i can understand by doing "movements" like this is the only way to get the attention and changes required.

Nonetheless, they've already stated a patch is in the works, and all of three hours ago released a comprehensive list detailing some nice needed changes. Perhaps not everything we'd like, but it's a good start/effort.

Nice contradiction there.

anyone who doesn't mind MAV riding yet can say "such and such is ridiculous" in another breath loses all credibility in my mind.

wow that's a long list.

I don't like flares work against laser guided missiles now but the rest of it sounds pretty good. recon with solfam + engineer with javelin + support with ammo was so much fun taking out jets and heli's. it was funny watching them use their flares then get destroyed. Now they will work rolleyes.gif

This reminds me of those chain email forwards you get in the summer time when everyone plans to boycott gas stations for one day because gas prices are too high. For one, this isn't going to happen, and second, so what if everyone didn't play the game tomorrow. Is this going to stop people from buying, playing and talking about it Saturday? No. Useless protest.

Other than hackers, which lately havent even been an issue, the game is fine. I really dont see why they would do this. The game has already been patched a couple times and they released a really good DLC. On top of that I have seen several articles about future patches so obviously communication is there.

Very childish indeed.

edit - not in response to you Kirby1 ;p

Hey man, at some point you need to realize that the customer is in control, not the company.

At least they aren't demanding X,Y,Z like a bunch of pirates. They are asking for open communication with the community and for their voice to be heard. If they can get enough people, then I think they deserve to be heard. I'm not making value judgements on what they want though, if you think that is unreasonable then the issue is with the community, which the company still needs to listen to.

Lots of companies pay good money for user feedback, and the smart ones will take it when they can get it and do what they can to deliver.

Wow, huge fixlist.

I'm definitely gonna be using the SCAR again. Stopping power and accuracy increase but less ammo and rate of fire is how this weapon should have been from the beginning but DICE kept messing with it. thumb.gif

Not sure how I feel about Tanks being disabled in 1 shot from an enemy battle tank. I guess that's to encourage Reactive Armor use?
