This cooler won't fit in my case. Anything taller than 150mm won't fit. I have an old xBlabe case. Might look cool, but it's not very big.

And thanks for all your replies !! But, there is something I found a bit alarimg. I ran Prime 95, to see what I'd get. The 4 cores reached 62°celcius ! Isn't that Way too much ? Also, my case was opened at that moment, with room temp at around 22° celcius.

EDIT: The Corsair A70 is 60$ at Canadacomputers, which is where I'd get it (I have a CC store near my location) And that's too expensive. Adding this to the fact that it simply won't fit in my case and that I have other projects that will require the money, Ill wait till I get a decent cooler THAT FITS.

What's the budget? A Noctua NH-C14 (review) is a very decent low-clearance cooler, it seems. It is also quiet, and it even cools the rest of your motherboard, too.

EDIT: Oh, already 60$ is too expensive. Nevermind, then.

Being smaller, it would fit in my case. Do you think it would still be a good investment ? (it's 20$ at canadacomputers, com, and the 212 is 35$)

Ok, check this out. In your situtation you can't use a nice air cooler your case is too small. In this situaton I would recomend using a sealed water loop. Like a Corsair or Antec cooler. You can get them for 49.99 and micro center and Circit city right now and would be worth every cent in your situation.
They will cool ALOT better than any air cooler you could fit and will save lots of space, you just need an open 120mm fan slot for the rad.

That's the problem. I have the first revision of the xBlade case, which is 8 years old... So, the only 120mm fan slot is in front of the case, near the HDD. And there is only space for a fan. All other slots are 80mm, which were popular, back in the days. Would it be a good investment to buy a new case instead, like the HAF 912 ? I really like it, and it's not too expensive*. the CM hyper 212+ would also eventually fit ! I sure won't upgrade tomorrow, but I will pretty surely in the next months.

EDIT: *not too expensive for a case !

i would recommend you a NZXT Source 210 40$ and a 212 + for 24$ you will get both thing around 60$ rather then spending 60$ on the case itself thumb.gif
post #40 of 65
according to www.overclockercafe.com and bigbruin.com your case has a 120mm in exhaust thumb.gif so you can put a 120 rad there biggrin.gif grab a H60 for 50$ if you dont mind thumb.gif
