High-end DX10 cards will draw up to 250W or so.... the 'mainstream' ones will draw less power, but still, I recommend a good powerful PSU.

I understand haha I guess I am just stuck on the "modular" thing. But flat out the Hiper is 580 watts and the OCZ is 600, is there that big of a difference between 20 watts?

So everyone is saying the Hiper is a bad choice then? haha this sucks. I know to some saying that 100 bucks is my limit for my PSU seems dumb when Im spending arround 1000 anyway. But the thing is, 1000 IS my limit haha.

The Hiper is not bad; it just lacks the power the GameXstream is able to deliver. For $100, there aren't many powerful modular PSUs.

I strongly recommend a non-modular PSU. Another one that fits your budget is the Antec Truepower II $89.99

The 8800GTX's are supposedly going to be stated to need at least a 400W PSU for a single card....
So, at least go with the GameXStream by OCZ, it powers my rig..oc'ed from 1.8 to 3ghz with not even a hiccup...

I heard 250W tops. 400W is very unlikly. No PSU will handle that, if you include the powerdraw of the rest of the rig
