I need some simple linux help

Basically my SMP client is crunching on small WU's, so I could get more turned in during the FaT, but I now want to revert back to the large WU's. Problem is I don't know how to give the command to finish the current WU (small) and then NOT download another one, until I can change the .cfg file to accommodate the larger WU's.

tl;dr - I need the terminal command to finish a current work unit and stop. redface.gif

You can stop the client and change the configuration and restart it. It will finish the current WU and start folding with the new configuration with the next WU.

If you just want it to stop after the current WU add the -oneunit flag to your terminal launcher.

Ah, thanks! Despite your help my client seemed to drop the old WU completely and start anew. Oh well, thanks for the help. +rep:thumb:

you are going to have to stop and then restart the client with the oneunit flag for it to work. If you leave it running it wont know that command has been added until after it is restarted
