Good idea I will definitely look into ImDisk as sounds like a good plan thanks! thumb.gif

I would consider 3 x 30" monitors that have DVI and Native DisplayPort for Eyefinity. TV doesn't work well with all Dx11 titles especially you are using HDMI.

Or consider 3 x Samsung S27A950D 120Hz for 120Hz Eyefinity. Two 7970s are powerful enough to drive 5760x1080 120Hz.

That has been a concern I have wasn't sure how bad shuttering and delay would be seeming the only way to use 3x HDMI is to use active display adapter then convert cable back to HDMI was hoping with power of the 2x7970 a lot of the problems would be smoothed out a bit. the other reason I am planning on this display is I already have the main TV and can pick up the other 2 for under $1000 for both. If I go to 3x30" I will obviously opt for 120ghz otherwise it would be pointless for the most part but to do so will end up fairly costly. Have to see what the money gods have to say over the next month or 2 to do so. smile.gif

Anyways, I personally am waiting for Kepler, couldn't care less about ivy bridge - only quad cores! PFFT! tongue.gif
Otherwise, not bad choices hardware wise thumb.gif ... thought even I wouldn't attempt three TV's for monitors lol. I really think that'd look horrible hahaha, but as they say, different strokes for different folks.
[EDIT]: You MUST put pictures up when you're done... I have to see this. Hahaha.

there will be a 10 core 20 thread IB CPU.

the 40' tv thing was a typo haha but yeah my fault. Cool I figured there would be an IB 2011pin in the works but the only issue is the release from what I could figure is Q3 2012 will look into it when it arrives but the 3930K should suit my needs for a while to come thumb.gif

After much personal debate and mind changing I went with the GTX 680 (only 1 for now) system up and running not overclocked at all yet but is running shogun 2 benchmark DX11 1080p at 54.9fps kind of means this thread is obsolete if ya want to check out what I have so far:
