It can't be good news for Nvidia...that is a lot of orders that they will have no part in.
Though this maybe a little bit of good news for us...If PC gaming is the only market that Nvidia has in terms of gaming (they do do other stuff besides GPUs for graphics cards) I bet they are going to do their best to help make it attractive to gamers. Maybe they will drop the license fee to use PhysX? I still don't know if a developer would choose it over Havok though even if it was free. Probably will see some TWIMTBP games again too.
Well... if I recall, AMD needs every penny they can get at the moment. The company is worth less than what they bought ATI for. o.o
If this is a blow against Nvidia, so be it, Nvidia is doing fine by comparison.
