Calling all CL cases with extended tops!

Thread Starter
I was just wondering if you could post your extended top and how you are using it, whether it be an M8, TH10, etc. smile.gif

I would ask you to post your pedestals as well, but they're so tall that they won't fit for me!

Also, does anyone know if these have been adjusted yet to allow for the larger length of the ThermoChill radiator inlet/outlets or does it still require custom modification?

I have the 85mm extended top on my M10. Using it for 2 x GTX360 rads with push/pull AP-15's. Push fans mounted in the case, rads and pull fans in the extended top. Used GTX360's because they were 54mm thick as opposed to the standard 60mm for low FPI rads. This allowed enough room to have 54mm (rad) + 25mm (fan) + bit of room for socket head fan screws.

You'll have to excuse the wiring, not quite finished yet. Also don't have the pull fans fitted.

I'm not a huge fan of the look the extended top gives the case. I think it looks too tall, but it allows for some pretty impressive cooling opportunities.

Oh my. Thanks skip. smile.gif +rep for that!

I think it makes it look more elegant to be honest. The shorter version is great looking too though - but I'm not a fan of how the radiators get in the way of the drive bays and that makes it look much better! How do you like the Koolance drive bay reservoir? Does it clash with the look of the case?

I really like the bay res. Did have a very slow leak from one pump o-ring when it was in my last case, but that seems to be fixed now after a reassemble. The colour seems a bit off in the photos but in person it actually suits the case quite nicely.

Was actually surprised at how easily my current loop bled up. Even with the 2 rads in the top and another 2 in the case, a couple of hours of pump cycling and a little shaking was enough to have it fully bled.
