Few questions for Cory

Hi Cory!
I'm gonna be ordering some small stuff here, particularly some tailed amber LED's. Do you have a ton in stock, cos I'm probably going to order 10 of em. Also had a question about your Power terminals. Could I mix yellow, orange, and amber lights off of it? It didn't specify those three colors, but I figured they're all within the same voltage range.

I also see you have the XSPC Raystorm, but not the Intel 2011 socket ones. Any plans on getting that version in soon?

Thanks!

Hi, XNine!

Yes, we have plenty of amber tailed LEDs in both 3mm and 5mm sizes, 10 is no problem. As for the power terminal, you're talking about this item? If so, then yes, you can power up to 20 different tailed LEDs from this board, regardless of color. The RayStorm for the 2011 socket is actually the same as the other RayStorm, it just includes slightly longer bolts, which should actually be included in the box for ALL of the Intel RayStorm blocks now. XSPC was generous enough to send us plenty of extra bolts for all the RayStorms we sold before they started including them in the box, so if by some fluke you DO manage to receive one that doesn't have those bolts, we can certainly send you one. Or just send me a PM with your order number once you place it and I'll throw one of the bolt sets in there for you just in case, to prevent any delays to your build! thumb.gif

If I missed anything, or if you need anything else, just let me know!

Awesome, Cory! Thanks a ton for the info on everything! I'll definitely hit you up about the Raystorm, should be within the next week, just waiting on my Tax Return to start buying stuff! thumb.gif

I actually found a different LED board, this one: http://www.xoxide.com/modmytoys-pcb8way-block.html
However, the one you linked looks to be a bit better made, so I'll probably just go with that.

Oh, one last thing, what is the length of the tail on the LEDs?

Ah, yeah I'd go with the one I linked. It's designed for LEDs and has resistors built-in, whereas that other one is just a glorified bus, no resistors or anything. The tail length on our LEDs is about 12", maybe a little more.
