I beleive once you placed it down, you press 3 (or whatever button the soflam is equipped to) your dude is then holding this little remote camera thing, if you activate it you can see through the soflam, and laser designate vehicles remotely. You can also use it as a camera lol

once the soflam is deployed you are taken into the soflam control thingy from the get go but you can exit


if you want to return to soflam control you go to the soflam control thingy and aim it but the soflam can laze targets on its own .. but its better if you do the aiming and talk with your team on wich target is getting painted and so on

LOL i know how you feel! Sick of it when teammates don't bother to cap the objectives and all they care is just flying the vehicles. They need to do that in a 64 player server. Not a smaller group cuz you can't hurt the ticket score. I hate deadbeats like that! Which is why i always stick to ground battle servers that don't involve vehicles if i want some teamwork. Metro is a best example. But it can be a PITA if someone doesn't revive or give ammo or med kit. Makes you wish FRIENDLY FIRE was on cuz i would SHOOT them right away ROFL. I miss running over haters biggrin.gif

got raped on karkand as defenders ... just because our team didnt have any brain to protect the train track and gatehouse ... took out one of the ennemy lav with the btr-90 + 1 m1 all on my own + a couple dudes ... the btr respawns and theres allready a swarm of ennemy that i couldnt deal with all alone

and then they pushed us back to market flag and the start of our demise was on hyperdrive

karkand sucks without teammates on com with you

they better make the armored kill dlc to have 2x more tanks per maps to assure that good tankers will have a tank to do some good instead of the noobs getting the tank dead in 30seconds or driving it past an ennemy tank raping us and taking our flags

The thing that irritates me is that they are already talking about 3 more DLC expansions and they haven't even fixed what they already have...
I refuse to play on the Karkand maps because they are not optimized and I hate the FPS spikes. (Run everything on ultra except texture no msaa 80 fps+ on vanilla maps.)

The hit registry errors is another annoyance. Why play an FPS game if the shots don't register? DICE needs to get their s**t together asap.

Just played a game of BC2. Hit detection was way off, and this was with a locally-hosted server with well under 80ms on my end. Building materials were bouncing around, helicopters were getting caught on poles and diving through the ground into oblivion. This is EA/DICE. They know how to make a game, but refuse to get the bugs out. Look at the Sims 3, it's a nightmare frown.gif
