LAST TIME BUYING FROM SEASONIC EVER.

As a second time customer of Seasonic power supplies, I must say I am quite disappointed with your customer service. The single reason why I am not bothering to email them is due to the lack of helpfulness and the hint of rudeness.

My problem is that I have just moved homes and cannot use this power supply until I get a replacement set of cables that seem to have been misplaced. You must understand the frustration involved while having a $200+ power supply sitting in a corner collecting dust because I can't get new cables.

I will quote from the last representative I spoke to about a replacement set:

"I guess that they won't open a brand new psu for just ship you the power cables."

I don't think a major company like Seasonic that prides itself in customer service and excellent products cannot even ship out a set of new cables for a customer in need.

PROBLEM?

I CAN'T GET A NEW SET OF CABLES FROM SEASONIC.

Yes, I can go to antronelectronics, but as a customer of Seasonic, I expect them to be less lazy and get off their a**es to just ship me new cables. I even specified that I would pay for it in my first email.

I hope everyone's learned their lesson because the laziness of Seasonic representatives such as "Warren" has driven me away from their line of products... possibly forever.mad.gif

I dont get why your so upset. They have told you how to get a set of replacement cables. Whats the problem here?

you misplaced the cables, not seasonic.

I need a breakout cable for my samsung monitor too because I misplaced mine.
Samsung component cable for LED TVs.

You aren't completely without hope, you can still purchase one from antron. It would have been worse if they told you to get lost. I had an issue with a monitor stand from Dell, and I couldn't get a replacement stand period. I had to return the entire monitor for a whole new one under warranty. It's just the way some of these large companies work.

They don't sell cables.. they sell power supplies. The cables are outsourced. They do not have the correct structure in place to have the ability to sell you a set. Sure it seems off, but it is not their fault. Sure they could have been slightly more professional, but again, not really their fault. I suggest not throwing your rig in random boxes next time you move, only things that need to be disassembled are the ones that can cause strain.

I talked with them about a few cables, They sent them out to me for free, free next day shipping as well... he gave me 3x pcie and 1x 24 pin for free. ( for my new x1250 psu I am sleeving... ) I needed another 24 pin... he sent me to that same company, turns out they are based about 10 mins form me and I'm going to go pick them up at their office this weekend. Seems perfectly ok customer service to me. Maybe next time you should just ask for a few cables rather than the WHOLE set smile.gif.
