Movies, Music, Art and the mainstream media are synonymous with iPod, iPad and iPhone. When people talk about a phone on TV they say iPhone, when they talk about a music player they say iPod. What you will never hear them say is "Samsung" or "Andriod".
Seriously, stop trying to defend a futile argument, but I guess it's futile, of me, trying to explain to a person who is completely clueless about status, recognition and class.
It's like trying to convince someone to buy a Hyundai Genesis V8 over a BMW 750Li. Who cares if a Hyundai has higher sales numbers? Who cares if it's cheaper? Who cares if it has better features?
