Sometimes they just need to be rebuilt

Thread Starter
For the past week or so I have been having problems with my PC randomly restarting. It started when I bought a 7600GT for my PC but continued after I RMAed it (go figure right) lol. I also noticed it was becoming my frequent and annoying as I couln't play any games or check my email.

In frustration I decided to strip er' down and rebuid it, give it a quick cleaning and wire management job. I improved my airflow a bit and naterally that combined with a bit of dusting I lost about 2 solid degrees. I have no idea exactly why my PC was rebooting but I fixed it, I put each piece in carefully and tightly. I fitted all cables secure and tucked em away so they couldn't get snagged while installing something else.

I now have my good ol trusty s478 up and running in tip top shape thank god lol. I guess that I knocked something loose or out of place while installing the 7600GT. I never figured out exactly what happened but it goes to show that a bit of maintenance can go a long way if you are having a new and sudden problem.

Yes, definately. That's usually what it comes down to in a lot of my problems. Sadly, it usually never fixes it for me, but I'm glad it did for you
