modular PSU cables(and the lack thereof)

I just bought a couple modular psu's for my 2 gaming rigs. One is a nice sunbeam uv acrylic 1 12V rail for my old gaming rig: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817709007

and the other PSU for my new rig is a 500W dual 12Vrail sli ready just mfg:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817181108

i haven't installed the last one yet 'cuz i noticed that it is SLI ready(2 pci-e power outlets) but it only came w/ one cable. if and when I get an sli mobo and GPUs how am i supposed to plug the power in w/ only one cable?

I have been searching through litterally dozens of google and froogle sites looking for a simple 6-pin to 6-pin cable similar to the one that came w/ my PSU. I couldn't find any.

it came w/ 2 stardard wiring harnesses(molex/floppy), one SATA wiring harness, and one PCI-E power cable. However, the PSU supports 4 of the regular harnesses, 2 of the SATA, and 2 PCI-e connetors on the PSU.

How am i supposed to use these other connections w/o the cables?(yes, that's a retorical question ) And where the heck can i get cables so i can fully exploit this PSU?

I'm pretty sure that many modular PSU's only come with some harnesses like mine so hopefully "many" of you have experienced my problem and can help me out .

I'm going to go ahead and install it now. I'll be on the other computer w/ the sunbeam PSU in it soon.

thx

^^It is always the place where people skimp the most is a PSU, I found it to be the first thing I replaced in my rig.

Also I looked at both PSU's and I did not see anywhere that said SLi ready? If you can please return both of those POS' and get this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817104953 if you are going to get a cheaper priced PSU. And buy a Molex to 6pin for it.

I know that reviews on newegg.com are to be taken quite lightly but, I do make reviews a large part of my buying decision and the reviews of both those psus aren't great at all. Plus, the Sunbeam psu only has about 14Amps or so on the +12v rail.

Send those things back and purchase something of a little higher quality. If your going to skimp on the psus (NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL), then get that FSP that someone linked to, or get something like the Enermax Liberty.

It's true what they say, you get what you pay for.

sry i bumped twice in one day, i was really inpaitent but that's no excuse...

i dont really care about the sunbeam cuz it goes in my old rig. I kno 14A is a little on the low side, but if it only lasts 8 months w/o ne probs i'd be satified, plus it looks super sweet, . lol The only thing on my other rig that's OC'd is the GPU.

I had originally picked out this psu: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...tem=17-152-026

but it came back in stock the very moment my psu shipped. I think they plotted against me, lol.

I really don't want to spend the shipping and 15% restock fee but that raidmax is way way more attractive looking than the just pc i bought. Plus this is really my fault for my impatience(this seems to a problem w/ me ) but i was buying a new 24" benq monitor(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824014124) and a new HDD(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148140) at the same time, so i thought i would tidy up my two rigs a bit w/ a couple of modular PSUs. I had my heart set on that raidmax for my main rig but it was outta stock.

it says sli ready on the box and it has 2 PCI-e outs. I also noticed I might be mistaken but im pretty sure a few other modular PSUs on newegg stating SLI ready also only came w/ 1 pci-e power cable cable.

OBTW, off topic but, u guys kno newhere i can get a replacement side panel for my x-crusier case, i kinda F'd it up pretty good. Pls don't ask how...
