Ceton I love you!

I have two Ceton InfiniTV4 cards now so I can record and view 8 streams of my premium HD content from my cable company on my HTPC at home. Which is nice because Windows Media Center has made it easy for my wife to get TV, all our movie collection, and Netflix streaming in one location.

Love it! can't wait for it to come out because I had the parts for an HTPC for the home but was lamenting that it was not an extender so any copy once flagged content would not play on it if it was recorded on the main HTPC... but now with a true extender it should play (if I understand how the streams are treated correctly) Most importantly it won't be a loud xbox!

Nope one line and 2 cable cards- each cable card can do up to 4 streams so I can view/record off of 4 channels simultaneously.

Nope talking about WMC in win 7, the 4 capture streams is not a limit it is 4 tuner per type that is a limit (ie I could have 4 tuners off cablecard, 4 tuners off clear qam, 4 analog tuners and still not break the limit). Even then it is an artificial limit and with the use of TunerSalad I do not have to worry about that artificial limit :)

Also for those not following or aware - Ceton has dropped the price on their InfiniTV4 to $199 now.

Yea the extenders have me giddy. I honestly am thinking about getting not just the extenders but possibly a Q as well, as long as I can find a way to manage movies on it easily (like Media browser for example)

Do you have a link to the interview? I saw a vid where they were showing off the stuff in their hotel room so not sure if it is the same one.
