Abnormally High TPF

Thread Starter
CPU: i5 200k @ 4.7GHz

I got a 7005 WU today, and i just got back home to notice that my TPF on this 7005 WU is 7 mins and 14 sec. This is giving me 4800PPD, which is ridiculous. Any reason why the TPF is so high? Others with a 2500k, what is your TPF on this WU.

BTW i checked, all 4 cores are at 100% and the CPU is at 4.7GHz according to CPU-Z and Asus monitor.

I have a 2500k as well. Never had that type of WU so cant tell you if the TPF is bad or not. You can only really compare TPF across the same WU as currently I am getting 24:03 on a 10127. You ppd seems a little low so my guess is that its a bad WU. Report back if your PPD stays low through

Just got woke up, and the PPD is still around 4800 with the TPF at 7 mins and 22 sec. I guess it is a bad WU, will have to wait when i come home from school to see how the next WU is doing since this 7005 still has 2 hrs to go.

An restartart would probably not be the worst thing. I have been doing a restart before leaving for any period of time as it seems to improve the PPD anywhere from 2-6k
