It sold on ebay. I was surprised it didn't sell here faster confused.gif after some time. The market has been slow tbh, well, not really when comes to radiators thumb.gif

Anyways, I agree, its an awesome psu (I only jumped it once to ensure it wasn't doa, so I never really used it first hand) based on the reviews. The only real downers are the "power cache" which makes sleeving this psu a no frown.gif. Also, its not even 50% modualar (more like 15% tbh).

Although the unit is a bit old, its still fine. Just be careful the unit does have capacitors on its cables so it night not be able to fit though all case "holes".

There was a review on newegg with my exact case (NZXT Phantom) He said they fit, but end up pulling the Rubber grommets off. Which I really don't mind putting back on.

If I end up HATING the cables, I just find some custom ones of PerformancePC or something. I'm sure I can find them. That, or mod them myself,
Thanks guys! I think I found my choice! biggrin.gif

No problem. Enjoy thumb.gif

Ya those capacitors on the end are a bit annoying, but you could get some extensions if you wanted biggrin.gif.

You sir - deserve an award. You've helped me so much lately. Thank you again....

you want more than a 1000 watt psu, because you don't want to run it @ or near 100% all the time

Btw, beef up your radiators biggrin.gif

I'm running two SR1 360s and one SR1 480 rads. I think that should cover it:

I spent a whole 30 seconds trying to look for the "Up arrow" for your post. Damn you, reddit....

I'm going through the build phase. Like most other major builds I've done, there's set backs, delays, and hair pulling moments. I have tested only one card so far but I'm a week or two away from finilizing it there are no further delays. I have a Kill-A-Watt that I can find what my power draw is when I'm up and running.

Just as a side note ... there's probably like 3 games out there where, on a single monitor, you'll actually achieve higher 'max playable settings' with 3 480's vs. what you'd be able to do with just 2 ... and even then it'll be like the difference between running it maxed out with 4xAA vs maxed out with 16xAA.

When you add the extra cash for that 1200W PSU instead of being able to get by with a solid 850W unit, + possibly needing a larger rad ... I hope you're getting a really good deal on that 3rd 480 ... otherwise your bang/buck ratio on that 3rd card is gonna be god-awful ... at least in the current gaming climate wink.gif
