Anyone have any thoughts on the COOLER MASTER CM Storm Spawn. - Page 2

The issue with chrome is only when you apply settings in the mouse software while having chrome running. Since you only change your mouse settings once in a blue moon just make sure chrome isn't running when you do it. There is no conflict with chrome and the mouse software when you not applying new settings (ie, writing to the mouse onboard memory)

Oh ok that clears it up, thanks. Has anyone changed the cords on these i heard they are very rigid and was wondering how hard it would be to change the cord to a diff one.

Biggest problem for me with the spawn is the horrendous cable. WAY too thick and inflexible!

You like the Sensei better, but complain about the cable on the Spawn.

Huh? What?

Have a look here ... http://www.razerzone.com/mouseguide/ergonomic/advantage

CLAW GRIP ... means you basically GRIP the mouse with your FINGER TIPS, your hand is like a CLAW gripping onto something. These are usually smaller mice ...

You can see how SMALL the CM SPAWN is in relation ... razer-mamba-mouse-size-compare.jpg

The Other Style of Mouse is known as a PALM GRIP ... in which the palm of your hand rests on top of the mouse and your fingers rest on top of the buttons. These mice tend to be LONGer and kind of BIG.

I have no problem with the cable on my sensei. While I don't prefer to have a braided cable, it's flexible enough to use, and works great with my mouse bungie. Plus, the sensei seems heavier than the spawn, and I think that helps keep cord drag less noticeable as well. The spawn's cable is thicker and is so inflexible it won't even work right with my mouse bungie.

Thanks that tells me alot, im thinking i'll like the spawn because i have smaller hands and use a pretty small mouse atm. If not i can always send it back and get something diff.

Because it's more comfortable for some people than using a claw grip? I play better with a palm grip, you'll generally see more low sens players use palm grips but it's not exclusive to just low sens its just whatever they're comfortable with.

TBH the palm grip pictures with the DA and the G500 look more like a finger tip grip, their palms are hardly touching the mouse.
