not to impressed with accelero on SLI setup....

the Accelero xtreme plus 2 works GREAT with a single card since it never gets above 70c at max load.... but if its on 2 cards in sli the bottom card does fairly well... but the top card goes straight up to ~90c and this is using a 1:1 fan ratio in afterburner. I shut the game down since it was still climbing and was not as effective as the stock cooler at cooling the top card in an SLI setup frown.gif

looks like I might be ripping them off and going to stock coolers.

would be better with a side panel fan but thats not possible on this tower.
tried to add a fan in the bottom to push fresh air into the case for the graphic cards?

there is a front intake fan that I had on full blast... and I did even remove the side panel. did not help.

Might I make a suggestion? Grab a pair of Antec 620's and do what I did: http://www.overclock.net/t/1140299/gtx-480-sli-antec-620s-mod/0_50

that is freakin awesome! you are getting some + rep for that.




Took the accelero off the top card to test out how the stock cooler compares, the stock cooler blows the accelero out of the water when doing an SLI setup with no gap in between. Looks like I will be posting this coolers in the marketplace.
