I just can't use specfific things like discounts, rebates, combo deals.. The money conversion is no problem as €1 on Azerty is about $1 on newegg, give or take a few.

€ 84,84 Asrock P67 Pro3
€ 264,76 i7 2600K
€ 126,85 XFX 6850
€ 79,55 Corsair TX550M
€ 43,57 2x4GB Dual Channel RAM
€ 599,57 Total

Notes:
  • TX series is a great PSU and this one is modular and pretty inexpensive.
  • Grab Dual Channel RAM, it will be faster than a single stick.

This build leaves you with €100 left for a case and cooler. Not entirely a lot, but it fits in the i7-2600K. Depending on your cooler, you might need to grab low profile ram. But an i7-2600K is doable with your budget.

As for your sound card question, it will only make a difference if you buy some nice headphones, Look in the audio section for more info thumb.gif

Any reason you went with the P67 Pro3 instead of the Z68 Pro3/Gen3? Both cost the same price.

I know I need dual channel. The stick in my first post is dual channel, though it doesn't show in the picture.

----

I'm currently looking at a €565 build

NZXT Source 210
i5 2500k
asrock z68 pro3/gen3
G.Skill Ripjaws X 2x4GB 1600Mhz
XFX 6850
XFX CORE 450W
Hyper 212 evo

ANy other suggestions?
