Love my Samsung Focus, and am looking forward to programming on the WP7 marketplace.
My HTC EVO 4 I got from work is cool, but the WP7 is the better OS imop.

Okay, I love my specs, I love hardware and everything it is and I love Metro (The UI for Windows Phone and most Microsoft products now), so I wanted Androids massive specs and Windows Phones software. Then it hit me, why would I need the better hardware if the software is so optimized for the hardware on the Windows Phones compared to other phone Operating Systems. It finally made sense, I have a strong computer at home which I love, and why would I need a quad core phone anyway? The extra power, worse battery and unoptimized applications wouldn't make sense.
Every time I use a Windows Phone 7 device it makes me smile, everything is so simple and just works. So yeah, I'd rather a smooth, fast phone with an awesome community rather then 'awesome' specs but a still laggy, unoptimized phone with a mass following of lots of people that seem to believe they need a dual core to E-mail, Text, Facebook and play Angry Birds.

Microsoft is in the game here.

It is a fair test. If you don't believe me and one of the biggest companies in the world, go check out Engadget/The Verge/Neowin or WMPOWERUSER.com for the specs. It's completely fair. Oh and how would overclocking the phone give it an advantage? It's still single core. The latest Androids are Dual core.

I dont get this video... My G2, not the best anywhere near the best android phone, can do all of this with ease. Hold down my camera button, press same button for pic, press menu, share on FB. For restaurants I hold magnifying glass icon, speak into it saying 'restaurants', and select any high rated available in my location. I can also Send emails, text, navigation, listen to music, show maps of, notes, alarms, calls, web pages with voice commands.. This video is wack -_-. They make it seem Android system is slow and clunky and hard to use...

It is. Otherwise, user satisfaction won't be so low.

more like users are dumb and phones are filled with service provider bloat.

still MS is pully a decent advertising by mud slinging competitions. windows phone is made with one thing is mind and that is social networking, obviously its going to do better then other devices in that regard.

I dont understand how, I have had only 2 android phones and they have done everything I wanted and more quite easily. They are easy to figure out and fun to use. My wife, which is not tech savy by any means, finds android phone quite simple to use... she has one of those slow(compared to my phone) entry level contract phones from T-mobile, and I never hear her complain how hard the phone is to use.

Not sure, might be my family, but we all picked up the Android OS and got the hang of them pretty quickly when we first got them. I guess there are people that just dont explore their phones enough to know what is available to them.

You never used WP so you are the one who is slinging mud. Just because it has socila network integration, does not mean it's focused on that.
