Bought a Gigabyte GTX460.....SE....yeah....

Thread Starter
Well, as the title states, I bought myself a GTX460SE after getting tired of my GTX550Ti's issues (please refer to my AMD build thread for more information.) Being the idiot myself, I bought the SE version instead of the Inno3D GTX460 768MB that was available in the same shop. But no matter, considering that it has been well over two weeks since I last bought it. Yeah, I hadn't had time to install it actually. Bought it, left it next to my cpu as I had to deal with work.

Well, I've installed the hardware, installed the graphic drivers, installed MSI Afterburner, and overclocked the already overclocked GTX460SE. And I must say, it really overclocks...

How's the configuration so far? I could overclock it further, but I'm not entirely sure how far I can go before it finally gives.

Not sure what your stock clocks are but my ASUS is at 865 core on .987v and would do 825mhz on stock .967v.

I also run my fan @ 60% and it gets to around 56c or so while gaming

run avga oc scanner for seeing artifacts then then you´ll test a game for stability

Well, I finally have time to do some overclocking, and I managed to squeeze a tiny bit more before artifact galore came spammed the screen. Crazy gpu I must say...

updateoverclock.png

Though, I do have future plans to move on from this gpu, since it is only a temporary solution. The one I'm after is a GTX560Ti. Not sure on which one, but I am leaning towards the Winfast model (or known as Leadtek). This GTX460SE is part of my upcoming pc build for my sister.
