Video Problem, please help!

Ok so I will try to explain what happened as best as I can.
I just recently built this computer, last 30 days or so.
Everything was crisp and clear with DVI to HDMI cable from my Radeon 6970, to my 32 inch samsung tv.
One day when i was moving my speakers, the power strip wire was accidentally pulled out of the wall while everything was turned on.
I rewired everything so it wouldnt happen again, but when I turned the computer back on, my resolution was all wrong. And I cannot get it fixed. (I probably switched hdmi ports also.)

Before my recommended resolution was 1360x768 and i was plugged into HDMI port 1,
When i plug it into hdmi port 1 now, i get recommended resolution of 1360x768 like before and all my text is clear, but everything looks much brighter and almost a cloudy look, crisper but still something not right, all my blacks are kinda grey like its too bright. I have tried adjusting brightness on both the TV, and game, with no luck.
BF3 is super blurry on this port....

When I plug the computer into HDMI ports 2 and 3, i get a recommended resolution of only 1280x768, and the text looks super grainy. When I change the resolution using these ports to 1360x768, the borders are way off and cannot be fixed with "picture size" on the tv.
BF3 is super dark on these ports...

I have tried reinstalling video card drivers and reformatting. I also reset the TV to factory settings with no result. I also tried HDMI to HDMI instead of using DVI converter, no result.

What in the world is going on?

Any help would be much appreciated, IDK what is going on and I feel like im just a setting away, or did I burn something out? Why is it changing resolution just depending on what port I am plugged into?

Thanks. I have linked two screenshots, the first one is 1280x768 grainy resolution, and the second is proper resolution at 1360x768 but is too bright and cloudy, confused.gif
You can see a difference between the two.

I would reinstall all your drivers with a clean install and using ATIMAN to uninstall the original drivers.

I put those two images side by side... apart from resolution I see no difference. It could also potentially be your TV.

If it was a driver issue, wouldnt a reformat taken care of that? I reformatted last night, still no luck.
Also, when looking at them both side by side, you have to look close, but I can see the difference, one is grainy and one is brighter...

Try this:

Screen Resolution > Make text ......... adjust it from there.

Ok I gave that a try, but they all look bad and the same, after doing my best the text still looks bad, and Ive never had to do that before?
And although I thank you for the suggestion, even if that did fix the text, my games would still look bad, so thats just a bad aid to the problem.
