In search for a cloth, smooth, and fast mousepad.

Thread Starter
As the title states I'm looking for a cloth mousepad that is extremely smooth and has low-friction (I think it's low. I always get these two mixed up. lol. in other words I'm looking for speed.) The only one I can think of is the Razer Goliathus Speed edition, but I'm not really a big fan of the ugly print on it. And I was also considering the Steelseries Qck, but I heard its friction is a bit on the higher side.

Why not just get the non-fragged edition of the Goliathus Speed?

I thought they discontinued the non-fragged version. Got a link?

By the way, it's been reported that the Goliathus Speed is actually slower than the Control. Apparently they mixed the terms up or something.

Have used alot of different mats, cloth, steel and things in between

The 3 best one's i think are:

1. Steelseries 5L or the 5C World Of Warcraft Frost Wyrm Edition [the WoW one is a 5L with a print] This is basicly a hybrid between cloth and steel, hard like steel but with a top like cloth. Best mouse pad i ever used, sadly you cant get the 5L anymore i think and the color print make's my mouse pointer jump, a CM storm spawn. Not all mice have a this though.

2. Steelseries Qck Heavy.
Huge thick mousepad, i liked it alot but i wanted even bigger.
Slight friction on this but feels good.

3. Corepad C1 XXXL
HUGE and smooth, covers whole desk. Got both my keyboard and mouse on it with room to spare.
You can get them in different size's, even bigger then this one.

*Still in the end everythings come's down to your own personal taste.

Hello all =)

Why don't u give a try at ozone mousepads? They're cheap and faster than steelseries. I had an steelseries quick and went to the shop and the guy told me to bring one of the ozone's home and i don't regret it smile.gif the material it's faster and most of sizes are cheaper than steelseries, razer.
For about 8 Euros you can buy a mousemat the same size as qck black (it costs about 12 Euros).
And that was my opinion smile.gif

Artisan makes some of the fastest glide cloth pads I've ever tried. There's a lot of different versions of the Artisan Hein on Amazon right now, I find that pad to be a great middle-ground between a plastic hard surface and a soft cloth one.
