Hp (intel ati) video issue

We have 3 different hp computers
I7 720qm + 5470 ati
I7 720qm + 5650
T6400 + 4530

All of them has one problem
Power management, everytime i choose balanced mode, even the lowest quality youtube video stucks laggs and it is not more then 3-5 fps

All the time i'm using this pc's at high performance mode. This is annoying, fan sound turbo core issues, very hot keyboard, a lot more. Hp's rma is bunch of idiots also. All they know is formatting pc.

Ps: i changed thermal pads with artic 5, that doesnt solved problem unlike other laptops i repaired

just use a program called driversweeper to get rid of all the old video driver and install the latest catalyst.

The first-gen i7 quads absolutely suck, sorry. Run hot, relatively slow, etc. I would install ThrottleStop ( http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/Benchmarks/ThrottleStop.shtml ) and use that to handle the turbo speeds. There's a guide by Notebookreview (comes up on the 1st page of Google search) if you need directions how to use it. Windows power management isn't really good (or at least, logical) when it comes to CPUs with Turbo boost. It seems like all those laptops have AMD/ATi switchable graphics. You should figure out how it works. Try playing video on integrated graphics, and only having the ATi graphics in use when gaming.
