And EVE Online - altrhough its also in principle possible to play it free if you buy the timecodes with in game currency.

well they are going where the money is... there's a game that i play the avg high ranked player spends $300 each day for (maximum that can be done every 24 hours) 3 days out of each week just to get best equiptment but usually fails. biggrin.gif i spend less then 100 and i got the best weapons for what i need to do biggrin.gif

Well...at least you can still smile about it...? Aion was a fun game when it started but our server was so one sided within a year it went bad. Maybe I'll give it another go now.

Interesting, I'm on EU servers but quit playing because of horrible population imbalance. I liked the character design, combat and visuals. Got a gladiator (I think that's what it's called) to lvl 35 before giving up, might give it a very casual try.
