running pc for almost 24 hours and i never encountered such error. bsod/freeze with the settings. now ill try to up it by 4.2ghz and applying the things you have given me... this feels so nice having around you helping all throughout my OCing experience.

no problem.
you could even go further but i wouldnt advise it for runing 24/7
also you can tighten the timings of youre ram to get a little more performance and oc youre videocard.
im kinda curuios what the rest of youre rig is.
you dont have a sig rig filled in so maybe thats a thought.
it would also help in the future so people can see what you have;)

hi,

this is my rig as of now, just low range built

Case - Thermaltake Level 10gt
MB - Gigabyte 990fxa-ud5
Cpu - Phenom II X4 960T
cooler - Cooler Master v6gt << still reading forums which is better air cooled or water..
Mem - 4x2 Corsair Vengeance CL9
Vcard - AMD sapphire HD 6870 << thinking to crossfire or update it with a 7990.
PSU - Aerocool Strike-x 800w
acc- Sentry 2 Fan controller. - as you can see the ambient temp is 28c kinda hot. smile.gif
mouse - razer naga

i tried ocing my vcard but while playing from 900 to 950 but while playing battlefield 3 the temp goes up to 73c. im satisfied with the stock setting and playing on low res gettting 100+ fps.. i guess it went better after reaching 4ghz of my cpu, just a thought. smile.gif

yes. using catalyst or sapphire to customize fan speed. setting it only in auto if not overclocking.

when I over clock my 5770's I run it up to 80% and it keeps things good on my gpu at about 60c

Thats because you power up 2 screens at a ress higher then 1080
If you have a spare 150 dollar buy a second card and crossfire it so you can play bf on higher settings;)
