I´m one of those early adopters with 120hz monitors, I´m saying for years that it made an huge difference.

However, to be honest, anything above 80hz/85hz I can´t notice it. Already made the tests. Even for those with 60hz screens you can overclock your monitor with a nvidia GPU (EVGA tool) and get 80hz from your monitor, enough for a smoother experience without spending a lot of cash on both 120hz monitor and a powerful GPU.

I honestly think that 960Hz+ would be when we would begin to notice diminishing returns. Even at 120Hz, fast moving obhects such as your cursor can potentially skip hundreds of pixels. At higher refresh rates, this won't happen.

I don't think you understand the 'diminishing' part of diminishing returns...

240hz leaves a good margin, problem is movement blur and latency.. resolution, color accuracy, viewing angels.. -______-
There is lots to be improved to say the least..
