I do average gaming and video with an APU. Maybe look into them. You'll get more of your money's worth with it. And you can even save by not getting a video card. But the system you put together here is not bad.
Yea, AMD APU's are really good. You can get a triple core, really cheap, that will play Dirt 3 on medium settings! Then you can add a 6670 for something for better performance.

Yeah an APU is just like a console except it's still a PC. If all you're doing is gaming and video look into those but either way the build isn't bad.
Also, If you don't plan on upgrading anytime soon, you can make do with a 500W power supply. Make sure you get a quality power supply though, like a Antec, Corsair or something like that, if you get a cheap Chinese PSU, it will blow up and take you computer with it. Do not skimp out on the power supply.

600W PSU? .................... what are you going to do with the spare 80% of that power you have left?

Your system probably won't even draw 200W.

He probably ordered the CX600, is my guess. Which in reality is only a 480w unit anyway. So its not a total waste. Although the CX430 would've been just as good for his build, or the Antec Green 430, or Rosewill Green 430.

Either way, he's already ordered it, so no need to comment about it now. tongue.gif
