ok so thinking about going triple monitor,

im currently waiting for Kepler(new Nvidia GTX680) to come out to see the prices drop of the 7970 etc

so was wondering about monitors, i have about £200 to spend per panel,

requirements,
27"
Full HD (1920x1080) or higher.
prefer 120hz but i dont mind 60hz TBH. not a biggie!
as small a bezel as possible

what monitors would you guys recomed>?!

will be buying from here
here

or here

or is triple 27" to much overkill and should i just go triple 24?!

bump is triple 27" to big?

Kind of subjective. I had 3 x 27" monitors and I felt it was a good size, but that is my opinion. This was after trying 3 x 23" displays which I felt was a bit too small. I primarily do sim racing on a 40" TV though. I've used many monitors/TVs for gaming and I can get use to just about anything.

If I had the cash for a setup like that, id get it. Before I got broke, I had 2 42" lcd LG's. One for my comp and one for my tv. It was very nice..lol

Any perticular reason you need 3 screens??

Edit: and no, its not to big. A wall projector isn't to big as long as you can push the resolution..lol

Bottom line. If you want it, set it up. Lol

fps like BF3 and stuff like that, and probly epeen but seeing as a 27" HD monitor is £200~ give or take depending, it doesnt seem that expensive i mean my plasma is 43" and its what i use 24/7.

but id like to get more into proper gaming,

ps anyone got a pic for size comparison of 3 27" monitors side by side next to 24/23"??

or should i triple 42"monitors, there only 400~ for a nice LG LED, hehe

oh dear my train of thought!

ps if my bank manager reads this i need it for productivity reasons!!

the bigger the screen i would think you would have to sit farther away.

even on a small desk my U2410 i have to sit back a bit back to see the whole shebang

i would go triple 24" instead of 27"

how i think of honestly going from a 22 to a 24 is a huge difference and then to 30" is like insane. i wouldnt hit the 27" unless it was my middle cause there's no point when you can go crazy on a 30" for only a couple bucks more

I use the 25.5" from Asus in Eyefinity and any bigger is just to much for me honestly.

Running 3 27 inchers right now. Photos in my rig link below. I think it is perfect.

30s would take way more hardware (if they were 2560x1200) and 24s were a little small for me.

i was skeptical on running 2 24" with dual gtx 480's so i guess in your profile it works with even 3.

BUT

i want a bigger middle monitor and set my 24" @ portrait on the sides but i'm saving money now for other things cause i dont need a middle monitor @ the moment and my 2 potraits is good enough for now

but i bought an extra waterblock for my 480's just in case my computer cant handle the res. tri-sli with tri-screen = the sexx

24 inch would likely look the best imo.
My 27" is ok for single screen but my previous 24" was giving out a much sharper acurate image.

With my 27" i can see pixels, it doesnt kill the game but if i was upgrading to a 1080 /1200 p monitor again id stop at 24" max, anything above needs a bigger resolution.
