I know it would require a ton of GPU power I was just wondering if it can be done.

He tried 3 2b catleaps and couldent get what he wanted.

Vega had to switch to 5 1920x1080 samsung 120hz lcds.

hmm these active adapters are too costly. 3-4 per100eur, it costs price of one 120hz benq monitor.
what adapters is vega using for 120hz, and is he using sl-dvi or dl-dvi to get 120hz on dvi?

thank you

Let me rephrase that. Nvidia surround does not support 5 screens.

Yeah but you can still only stretch the game across 3 monitors, not 4. Thus, the Surround portion affecting gaming is still 3... IIRC

Blended projectors are nice, but things to get a bit more complicated if you go that route.

If I had a darkened room, I'd do it. I'd get a curved screen and try out nthusim. Alas, I do not have a darkened room.

I think I'd pick a higher-res projector, though. I dunno about 1280x800. I guess if you blend three+ of 'em in portrait, you'd get a fair number of pixels, but... still... it's a well-known fact that MORE IS ALWAYS BETTER.

Well, damn. I figured if anyone was gonna get it working, it was going to be you. And then I could cheat off of your homework, because that's easier than doing all of the nasty legwork myself. wink.gif Oh, well. Guess I have to mess with it myself again.

By the way, speaking of stealing your wisdom,I had a question for you... if you were someone like me, who has a solid reason why it's always going to be 3 landscape monitors and never 5 portrait monitors (the reasons are complicated, just take my word for it), would you still go with AMD or would nVidia come back into the picture?
