I just read through the first 50 pages and have a question ...

I am running a surround 3d setup and am choosing some video cards for 4 way sli smile.gif

I am trying to determine if 2gb will be enough or 4gb be necessary smile.gif

I was thinking to get 4 680 lightnings and overclock them with the voltage control and another option for a similar price would be the 4gb FTW or maybe the classifieds ...

Any thoughts , seems this is the right thread to ask smile.gif !!!

and to be clear as a 3d vision surround we are talking 3 1080p monitors ... my mb is the rampage extreme 4 (I will enable pcie 3) and my 3920 is clocked at 5ghz daily ...

I am considering things like fun of overclocking, importance of memory overclocking and how 2gb video memory will likely clock better than 4gb and total amount of video memory might or might not be necessary in top teir games like crysis 2 and BF3 and skyrim smile.gif ...

Guild Wars 2 runs incredibly well, especially for a Beta!

Awesome video! Very smooth indeed. biggrin.gif

Looks awesome...that type of game is not my cup of tea but Im tempted to buy it just because the developer was thoughtful enough to include solid 5x1 & multi-gpu support.

Im looking forward to GTAV and the new Hitman game...unfortunately I bet neither of those two games will provide any kind of support for multi-gpu / 5x1 :{

Haha at that point I didn't know you could fall down there. I was like oh crap better not die! One good thing about GW2 is even if you don't like to put in a lot of time, you can go right to the PvP arena's and it levels you to max with all PvP gear so you can get right into the action.

I will definitely post some pic's when the setup is complete with the Lightning blocks.
