Watercooling Parts

Thread Starter
Hey!

About 2 weeks ago I purchased an XSPC Rasa 750 RX360 Watercooling kit and have fallen in love with watercooling. But, I don't like the barbs that come with it and the tubing is pretty average.

So I've decided to get compression fittings. I've been told they are much more secure then the barbs and I don't like the look of using clips for that extra compression with the barbs.

I'll be buying all the needed parts from PCCaseGear so if you have any suggestions please let me know smile.gif

Compression Fittings: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=207_160_300_1320&products_id=13480

Tubing: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=207_160_853&products_id=19302

CPU Waterblock: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=207_160_878_879&products_id=18234

Just let me know if this is decent.

Thanks smile.gif

yup, I own that same cpu block, and it really is the best I have ever used. People say the rasa block is also great, but I have used both and like the hf atleast twice as much.

I'd stay away from Primochill, for the time being, at least. There's an issue with loads of plasticizer build up inside their tubing right now.

As well, I'd go with either a Apogee XT2 or XSPC Raystorm block. The Koolance 370 block is also really nice.

I have that tubing right now and haven't had any problems with plasticizer, but there have been reports of it so it may just be that I got a good batch. Also, why are you changing your CPU Block? If you have a Rasa, I dont believe you will get much of an increase in performance by switching over to the HF Supreme, maybe 1-2*c is all.

The fittings are good quality, I have bitspower 90* angles and they are great. I will be replacing all my barb fittings with bitspower compressions before too long.
