Can't have the cake and eat it too Sony. Maybe if your company grew a brain, you guys could learn to shift focus away from "combatting piracy" to making relevant and innovative products again.

Living in New Zealand I've lost count of the sheer number of videos that are restricted from my country.

I never understood why, but the reasons have to be something really stupid -_-

That's really quite narrow-minded of you to assume that just because teenage autotune singers are the hype, that the HUNDREDS of other genres aren't still fresh and thriving. Talent and amazing music will always be out there if you only looked.

From my perspective and what I listen to (metal + most of its sub-genres, lots of japanese stuff, some classical, etc) the music industry is doing better than ever! I can't wait to listen to new talent on the horizon and more stuff from the brilliant artists I already adore.

Really, I'm beginning to get annoyed with the sheer number of people that keep beating their "oh what has happened to all the good music" drum everywhere they go. It's like someone taped their eyes/ears shut. Good music is right there in front of you, look for it biggrin.gif
