I've gone to the dark side (MW3 vs BF3) - Page 2

I would say MW3 is to MW2 what BF3 is to BC2

An update to a game that should have never existed in the first place? tongue.gif

To each his own I guess. I have a lot of fun with BF3 when I play it with friends (support class with the bipod ftw!). I tried MW3 the other day when the had the free-to-play multiplayer weekend on Steam, figured I'd give it a chance since I was a big fan of MW1, but dear god I could not stand the game, it was just so inferior in every way.

it really is a personal opinion...

MW3 has won FPS of the year, as well as Worst Sequel FPS of the year... and BF3, same thing.. Best FPS etc

I love BF3 because i feel it takes a bit more teamwork, where MW3 (COD) can feel like a run and gun. I did really enjoy COD 4 though and got quite proficient with the Grenade launcher... to which i got.. cheater.. noob.. etc. (I could land it in a window at a LOOOONG distance lol) good times!

They are both FPS's but honestly they shouldn't really be compared. They are very very different games. They are both polished big budget FPS but the similarities end there.

What? I learned on ocn that they are both easy games for kiddies who have no skill. Exactly the same.

200+ hours into BF3 and still going strong. Although I find myself becoming more and more impatient with noobs who don't know how to play the game yet.

I had a similiar experience. I enjoyed BF3 for the two weeks I played it, then got addicted to WoW again. Shortly before coming to Afghanistan I bought MW3 on xbox because all my friends/family were playing it, I had tons of fun with it even if it is exactly like MW2.
