Flashed both to IT mode to work as an HBA under Windows, Linux, Unix and Solaris. These things are fantastic under Linux and Solaris, Ran for many months supporting our 20T+ array. We've been very happy with them but we're forced to upgrade to an PCIe x8 system because now we're running a Supermicro X9SCA-F-O.
Notice the grommets on the mount, these are UIO card and you need to
