Exactly.

What did the Steam community do when they wanted more info on Half Life 3?

They grouped together and voiced their opinions to the people they wanted to hear them in a clear, concise and professional manner.

The kind of protest proposed by Battlefieldo and the attitude behind it is stirring up unrest more than it is creating an atmosphere where the devs will actually want to communicate more.

After all, you dont get someone to feel more comfortable to talk to you by stealing their last beer and leaving a note saying "call me". That's just the kind of awkward behaviour that makes people stay the heck away from you.

Mods trolling on OCN and abusing their power to post non-news as news?

Now I've seen everything. This site really has gone downhill since the rework.

Battlefield 3, despite how well it is optimized, is an absolutely piss-poor garbage game. The SP is as bad as Homefront and the MP has no functioning voip, client-side hitreg, a broken web-based server browser, and an excruciatingly non-friendly way to change load out weapons. The maps are of garbage quality. This isn't Battlefield this is Bad Company 2.5. If it was called Bad Company 3, I wouldn't have a problem with it but it's not. It's supposed to be a Battlefield game. The sky ceiling is pathetic. The maps are all tiny and linear. Operation Metro is a complete Call of Duty nade spam clone. The only good maps come from the Karkand expansion but guess what, I've already spent hundreds of hours playing them in BF2 and their remakes in 2142.

It's not a surprise most of the veterans of DICE have left the company and moved on to other things.

Tweak the menus and allow kit change between rounds.

Other than that, thanks for the solid game, DICE.

You are the reason this thread exists.

DICE have supported this game post release more than they have for any Battlefield title to date and are showing no signs of stopping.

Or maybe you're one of those guys who just LOVES how grenade spam has been ruining Battlefield 2 for 6-7 years and would love for DICE to go back to the days where we waited years for A patch?

*sigh*
