Help me choose, for BF3 and more!

Thread Starter
I am only in need of a case and GPU for my complete build. For now I want to be able to play BF3 and other games on high settings, I want to buy a single card first, then a matching one later to crossfire of sli. I don't want to pay and arm and a leg, maybe just the arm!

here's what I have

Intel i5 2500K
16 GIGS CORSAIR VENGEANCE
ASUS Sabertooth P67 MOBO
Sound Blaster Falalty X-fi
Crucial M4 128 SS
Windows 64X Home
Corsair H100 WC
I plan on running the OS and BF3 on the M4 128SS, then getting 1TB WD black caviar later for the music, photo's and such

Case, either the CM S TROOPER, Thermaltake Level 10 GT or SS RAVEN or FT-02

I just ordered my mouse, Logitech G700

Please give recommendations for a great single GPU

Thanks

Michael

You'll need a least 1.5GB to play BF3 on "Ultra" I'd recommend a 580.
At this point, the 7970 is far superior to the 580. $559 for the 7970, $480 for the 580.

Both will be able to max out any game @1080p. You'll need more than a 580 for 1920x1200 and above.

Bull butter. I can run at 1920x1200 with no AA on BF3 and get good FPS with my 570 SC  with all other goodies jacked.

BF3 is NOT the most demanding game out there -_-
