The "case" slammed "open" like a car trunk being shut and with the way his board is mounted the card kept going when the board didn't. Basically imagine grabbing a hold of your GPU and ripping it out without unlatching the card from the slot.

 

Though the destructive side of me must applaud you because that is still the most unexpected way to ruin a motherboard,

We need more fans!

So here I am, minding my own business... Looking through this awesome build on OCN, when suddenly, a wild video card appears and destroys hopes, crushes dreams, and takes with it a little piece of PCI slot...
