Mass Effect 3 Collector's Edition availible anywere?

Like the title says, does anyone know a legitimate vender for Mass Effect 3 CE that I can buy it from. I was not expecting EVERY store to be sold out of pre-orders. I know, I love the game, but having pre-ordered the CE of Halo 3 less than a week before release, and people allowed to buy on opening day, thought it would be easy to get it a couple weeks before.

The other option is the Deluxe edition from Origin, which comes with all of the same things at the same price... but I like having hard copies. Also, how am I suppose to download a hoodie patch. Kind of defeats the point of getting a lithograph from the game if I have to print it out myself on my officejet -.- Do they send them to you?

the digital deluxe edition doesn't include the patch, EVERYTHING is digital.
you get the limited edition comic and art book, but it's still digital, you'll need a PDF viewer to read them, most likely

EDIT: this is kind of ironic that you really want the collector's edition while I'm debating cancelling my CE preorder biggrin.gif

This says it does come with the patch and what-not, but yeah, I don't see what the use of them is if you can just google it and print it out yourself...
I may be able to go to the midnight release (if they have one) and get it then, but I don't want to possibly miss out on getting ME3 just because I wanted the CE.
M8, if you lived near me, I would gladly take that pre-order off your hands for a fiver.

I think gamestop always stock 5 to 10 copies of a extremely popular game anyways, I got SC2 CE at the store even though they said it was out of stock. it never hurts to ask.

I'm in boston, unless you want to spend 200 dollars just on gas to get here you're welcome to my preorder.

Special editions are a marketing scam, unless you really want extra maps or something where a special edition is kind of required.

Then they'll hit you for DLC.

I thought people would have cottoned onto this by now.

I'm contemplating that exact reason you said, I'll probably read the comics and the artbook once, then it'll be a few years before I even see it again. mostly useless

maybe I'll turn the lithograph into a mousepad, that'll be cool

That would be pretty neat. (mousepad thing)
Yeah, well, seeing as it IS coming out with a day 1 DLC, and it is included with the purchase of the CE or DE, then it really does almost pay for itself. DLC is probably set for 10, and the price difference would be 56.99 to 79.99, so it is 10 bucks for the metal case, patch, book and lithograph. If it weren't for the day one DLC release, then there I would not even contemplate buying it.

I hate day one DLC releases....

Thats why I preordered the Collector's Edition. The standard edition plus DLC is $70 (or $60 if you count the Amazon gift card). Collector's Edition is $80, but comes with the limited edition stuff and the N7 weapons pack. I'm contemplating switching to Amazon's standard edition download to save the $20, since the N7 pack will probably be replaced by better weapons as you go (if not then they'll screw up the balance in the game and I won't use them anyway), and the only other item I care about is the lithograph of the Normandy, which I thought would look nice next to the futuristic train on my wall, but is the lithograph reallly worth the extra $20?

Anyway, if you want the CE, K-Mart still has the PC version ($80.82 after shipping) and guarenteed delivery between the 6th and the 8th. For an extra fee they had release day delivery, but I can wait an extra day. If I left the CE sealed and bought the standard edition from Amazon, anyone think it would appreciate like the first Mass Effect did, or would I just be wasting $80?
