Also, you're comparing a phone to a tablet. Tablets usually have more real estate they have to contend with and process, so it's not a very fair comparison. Honeycomb, ICS, and Gingerbread all have slightly different software, so we still need to wait and see what the first Tegra 3 smartphone can do before rendering judgement.
Not saying you're wrong, just don't jump to conclusions until we have direct competition in the smartphone arena.
Both the Qualcomm and the Tegra were running on ICS in those tests. CPU benchmarks wouldn't be affected by the higher resolution and the GPU benchmarks were set at a fixed resolution (except for Electopia).
Depending on what the final versions are clocked at and what software updates are in the pipe for ICS as well as the benchmarks I wouldn't expect vast differences in performance than what was reflected.
The review indicates newer Kraits will ship with Adreno 3XX chips so I'm curious if these will be out in the Fall or better yet the Summer. I don't really need a new phone, but if I change carriers I would have to get one.
