It's a shame, you are supposed to LEARN from your mistakes...not repeat them.

But on the bright side, at least there are no wood screws this time lol biggrin.gif

I'm amazed by how early people jump on conclusions on these forums *facepalm*

Did you guys even read the article at all? The 300W TDP is an amateur claim by VR-Zone simply judging by the fact that the card has 1x 6pin and 1x 8pin connector.

The GTX 480 and 580 also had 1x8pin and 1x6pin, so did the HD 6970 and yes, even the 7970. Do these cards have a 300W TDP rating?
NO.
So use your heads next time before commenting bs like its fermi again etc., seriously...

So what good are all these rumors from Kepler cards? Is it just online companies trying to gain some popularity and voice? I just don't get it how they make this stuff up when its not really backed up by Nvidia or employees from Nvidia... Just doesn't make sense to me, I don't see how this is helping anyone. Kepler has like 1000+ rumors now and they all seem to be wrong on some point, the only thing that they're all right about is the new architecture is named 'kepler'...

It's getting a tad annoying hearing rumors...I guess we'll all just have to wait till we get some hard facts

My guess is almost all of them just read the title and went OMG FERMI AGAIN instead of reading that piece of crap that VRzone pumped out. Even if they could guess the "TDP" rolleyes.gif from the connectors, they are forgetting PCI-E 3.0 allows more than 75w from the slot now.

Wow! It's obvious that almost all commentators in the first page did not read the article. sad!

here we go again... 6970 TDP is 250W. but it also have a 8pin and 6pin... 7970 is 210W but it aslo have 8+6 pin connectors. this is just made for the sake of margin and insane peak needs if there are any. i bet that new GF cards will not have more TDP then 220W.
