Seems there should be a mfg standard set for the mounting specs for the rads and cases.
LC

I think the issue with mounting a radiator at the bottom is only with double 140mm radiators, I was really hoping it would fit down there but oh well sleepsmiley02.gif
I've seen other people basically cut out that front fan mounting area so they can put radiators on the bottom. One thing that is important to note though is that the entire hard drive cage plus the bottom mounting bracket can be removed and you could probably fit a double 120mm radiator on the bottom fairly easily.
(Post 4 has pictures of the bottom of the case with the bottom hard drive cage removed + the rail for the cage)

There is enough room for the radiator and 25mm fans leaving about 3/16th of an inch of space from the fans to the top of the motherboard. Radiator mounted inside with fans also inside. There is enough room for push/pull with this radiator if you mount fans on the top outside of the case.

Actually, I was thinking about cutting the plate in the optical bay up top. That part is not removable. I've seen some peeps doing that. It would give ample room for fittings and better air flow. It will be interesting to see how the 90 deg fittings fit at either end up top.

Ahhh yeah... I wish that was removable as well, if worse comes to worse I will have to cut the case =/, but I will try as much as possible to avoid doing that.

Bored, I decided to mount the blocks.

Graphics Cards:
400

*EDIT* This morning I realized I forgot one of the PCI-E slots is only 8X so I already moved them to be 16X16X
339

Mounting the Apogee was a bit of a pain, I felt as if I needed an extra pair of hands:

Anyways, the radiators and fittings came in, I've been toying with mounting options and to am going to try to stick with my "no case modding" policy and this is what I've come up with:
I was originally going to have the 240 radiator on the bottom, but it won't fit without cutting out the front fan mount, this seems to work and I get to use both hdd cages
400
Mounting the 420 radiator on the top was not so bad, although my original plan of putting the fittings to the back of the case does not really work
400
as shown here... with the fittings it will be right up against the I/O shield area.
700
So I am going to try having them face the front of the case, and it seems there is enough room to have some 90 degree fittings there. If worse comes to worse I'll have to go out and buy a dremel and forget my "no case modding" policy frown.gif *EDIT* Or see how well the 90 degree fittings work when it is facing the back.

Oh and a new addition, Steel Series 7G biggrin.gif. Please forgive my messy desk >_>;

Sorry for long quote first off...

How do you plan/how have you attached the 240mm rad to the HDD cage, im planning to do something similar soon and want to know how...

To do that I mounted the fans with the fan brackets on the hard drive cages to the radiator, then when I was putting it in, only the top screw holes line up so I have those in. To help with stability I added some velcro where needed and I also covered the 140mm fan hole on the bottom to it can have a place to rest (so the rad isn't solely relying on velcro and three screws >_>)

Right now I only have the stock fans and my Gelids should arrive Friday, so when I replace the fans I'll take some pictures of what exactly I've done. As a side note, some of the tubing is finished and getting 3/8 inch tubing over a 1/2 inch barb is a pain in the butt mad.gif

Sounds great, I ordered mine and it should be here this week. Which 90's did you get? I ordered some 90 swivel adapters. Couldn't find any 1/2 to 3/4 90's

I decided to get the Bitspower BP-MBWP-C39s since the rotary/swivel adapters seem to be a tad long/it will be a close fit and I didn't really want to chance it.

Ahh, I was gonna get those but I was concerned the thread would randomly leave the the fitting in the wrong orientation once installed.
I got these: http://www.jab-tech.com/Bitspower-Matt-Black-Rotary-90-degree-G-1-4-adapter-BP-MB90R-pr-4548.html

Looks like they do add some length though. I'm looking forward to seeing how yours works out.

Yeah I saw those and I was considering trying them, but I was concerned that the extra length for the rotary mechanism might make it too long. I have them on right now and it seems to be a snug fit in the proper orientation... only leak testing will tell though.
