Logitech G1 - G100. Safe buy?

I read through several topics on this subject, but found no testimony about a particular reseller.

I found this one who seems trustworthy:

http://myworld.ebay.com/qtan5370/?_trksid=p4340.l2559

There's also some packages of 3 G1's, I would be intersted if I go for the G1 and not the G100. There's also offers for 4 mice in the same package.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/WorldWide-3-1-Pack-Logitech-Genuine-G1-Gamer-Gaming-Game-Mouse-Grey-Gray-Bulk-/120828900069?pt=Mice&hash=item1c21f6b2e5

Anyone got an opinion on these packages?

Thanks!

How to make a already perfect shape worse? Try to improve it

Going for the G1 is the right decission. Shape and especially sensor wise.

PM me for trusted links and if u want a 800 or 1000 dpi version. I don't know anything about 3 packs tho.

Hmm, are you a reseller yourself? D:

No but i bought fake and genuine Logitech G1's from china. Im using a G3 myself. As im perfectly fine with the sensor. It doesn't have as much angle snapping as the G1 and much better sensor feel as the G100.

I have recently got a hold of G100 bought in a shop in China. I never had G1 but I still have and occasionally use original MX300.

There is no angle snapping in G100. The sensor feels great up to 500DPI ( very comparable to G400v2 at 400DPI).
I usually play at around 12-15CM/360, anything above that feels twitchy to me.

I heard there is a jitter above 500DPI but I don't really understand what is the issue or how it affects gaming.
I've tried drawing lines in paint but they look exactly the same to me, doesn't matter whether I use G400 or G100 at same DPI.

I have to say the shape is pretty damn good, almost the same as MX300.
The mouse is as good to play with as G100 shape wise, and at 500DPI as accurate feeling as you've got with G400v2.

So far of MX300, Abyssus, G400 and G100 I use G100 for scoring frags in QuakeWorld.

SoboL

Thanks for the info! I might try a G100, I'm still unsure between G1/G100. I'm left-handed btw, that's why I go for ambidextrous mice!

But if I buy a G1, will I be able to use at 1000dpi? Because there's a 800 and a 1000dpi version.

In the end, I might even buy the lot biggrin.gif G1 800/1000dpi + G100. I've had this shape before and it was THAT good, so it's maybe worth it.

I wish the G1 had a DPI of 1600 and higher. That would be awesome if Logitech makes another version with the same shape but a higher DPI.

I don't understand this question. Didn't u ask for links in PM? I gave u the 1000DPI version link, where i ordered mine. Why wouldn't u be able to use it at 1000DPI? wink.gif

I would 'be able' to use it at 1000dpi but I'm wondering if there's jittering above 500dpi as Sobol said for the G100.

I bought my Logitech G1 from http://myworld.ebay.com/k1shop2010

Quite few bought G1 from him on TeamLiquid aswell, since hes a good seller.

Beware of all the Fake Logitech G1 on ebay, there are TONS of them.

Bought a G1 + Salmosa (asian version) and had my stuff within a week no problems.

My G1 does not have any noticable jitter @ 1000dpi.

Ofc its kinda annoying with older mice since they dont have 500/1000hz option and you need to go through the hassle to drive them @ those hz.
Win7 32bit is easy but 64-bit you need to enter dev mode and patch files etc etc.

The g1 is still the best smaller mouse out there in my opinion.
AND the dpi button works as a "back" button, suck on that stupid kinzu dpi toggle crap button frown.gif

Ofc I still dream about a "new" G3 with 1 extra sidebutton, same SEXY color theme and 500hz with better sensor, dr000000l.

But now everyone wants to make rocketship mouse, like roccat with achievements in the mouse, I mean ***.
