Ok i have as thread name states the asus p8z68-v PRO/GEN3.. when i enter the bios i get a half screen display where the resolution seems hugh,.....

as standard i run two monitors in 1280x1024 on a 17in flat screen via a DVI port and a 26in HDMI bush (IDLCD26TV16HD) @ 1280x720 (1920x1080 seems to shake and cant find a solution)

anyway when i boot to bios with both screens, half the bios display doesnt show and there is no way to navigate to the off screen options..... to get into my bios i need to unplug my HDMI prior to booting.... (this was discovered by not connecting it at initial post)

im running an ati 5770 with the latest driver and after searching ive been unable to find any solutions...

has anybody else foudn similar problems...

appologies for my poor explination or lack of info... im not used to asking for help.

any further requirments just ask and ill replay asap

sorry i just looked and its not that clear in reading.. i have tried with one monitor it seems it only displays properly when loading onto the smaller 17" screen. only. When i tired the HDMI it showed the same display errors as when runnning the two.

Summary.

17 Flat screen + HDMI = display error (think like the old 800x640 res)
HDMI alone = same display error
17" Flat screen = no problems.

i run my displays as an extended desktop in windows and all appears fine on both displays. Games look correct, browsers display correct

its just when i load bios both screens display the same large resolution problem with much of the bios displayed off screen.
