small update:

dont ever try to calculate measurements when sleepy! i made the same mistake twice. stupid me!


i was able to fix it by using both sections and some rivets:

well m kinda new to metal working lol i mean i watch a lot of how its made shows lol.

and thanks for the referral he does do some good work but then he does have a much nicer shop than i do, i mean mine is just my patio lol

A lot of the stuff he does can be done with basic tools (and that's what he mostly uses), especially the stuff at the beginning of the thread. And even though he uses bender and such it doesnt mean that he couldn't help you out smile.gif He's said many times during the build that the stuff he does doesnt need very fancy tools or workshop, and there's usually more than 1 way to do something.
And what do you have to lose? Advice and pro tips are always useful wink.gif

tips are always good! and yes my bender consisted of 2 pieces of 1x4 and my hands and a 32 oz. mechanics hammer lol. i never said i wouldnt ask for help though lol thanks again!
