Right, but Intel choices aside, for the person looking at an AMD solution, how easy is it to honestly clock up a phenom II at 4.3GHz for the tech illiterate consumer? 4.3GHz stock BD on 4 module CPU is still preferable to a 2.5-3GHz stock PhII tri or quad. Regardless of the clock-for-clock shortcomings of BD in single-threaded performance, a 4.3GHz BD still outperforms a 2.5GHz PhII in nearly everything.

These price cuts are pretty exciting for BD--probably the most significant cuts I've seen for such a short release-time.

I would seriously consider getting a FX8150 for $180 but think it's better to wait for Piledriver and FM2 socket motherboards. At least the price cuts make BD more competitive.
