Awesome price drops! It's still a shame how much more they are in the U.K. compared to other countries frown.gif

Right, but Intel choices aside, for the person looking at an AMD solution, how easy is it to honestly clock up a phenom II at 4.3GHz for the tech illiterate consumer? 4.3GHz stock BD on 4 module CPU is still preferable to a 2.5-3GHz stock PhII tri or quad. Regardless of the clock-for-clock shortcomings of BD in single-threaded performance, a 4.3GHz BD still outperforms a 2.5GHz PhII in nearly everything.

These price cuts are pretty exciting for BD--probably the most significant cuts I've seen for such a short release-time.

I would seriously consider getting a FX8150 for $180 but think it's better to wait for Piledriver and FM2 socket motherboards. At least the price cuts make BD more competitive.
