Get a bottle that doesn't neck down. Also, make sure the tube is in the water not above it.

what if you filled the bottle all the way? I'm sure that would help. or maybe use a mason jar.

I don't really want to change to a different jar because this one fits perfectly in the case and the mouth is exactly 3/4" so I don't even have a clamp or anything to create the seal down by the pump. I was able to create a different loop that did allow more water in the res and it worked perfectly. smile.gif Somehow the pump was able to push more water into the pitcher than what stayed in the res so it caused all the bubbles. Apparently I need to scrub out the inside of the bottle too because there are a ton of floaties in the water. frown.gif

Ok so I literally have spent all day working on priming my case and the last bit of sanding and stuff! I'm currently sitting in a theater waiting for the Hunger Games to start just to finish off a great day!!! I work tomorrow and have Saturday off so hopefully I can do a bunch of sanding tomorrow and then paint everything on Saturday! Its looking really good so far but I've got a lot left to do with painting and then doing the final clear coat and getting all the cracks to look good. Pics are coming soon!

MAJOR UPDATE!!

First I started with the heatsinks ands sprayed them with a high heat radiator paint and they look amazing so far. I also painted the radiators with this paint and it looks really good too.

before

after

700

450

These are the caps for the fan controller

700

450

Here's the quality of shipping from amazon :/

450

All scuffed down and ready for priming

700

450

Partially painted!!

450

450

450

700

450

blurry but it's finished and white smile.gif

450

Oh the beautiful fans

450

Here's one of the guns but I don't really like this one as much as the detail gun just because of the precision and very little overspray.

700

I ended up getting the 3 gallon compressor and it works waaaay better than the little 1 gallon because it doesn't need to recharge as many times as the little guy. It was better suited for my needs.

450

I wore my Sennheiser 170's and the spray mask the entire day and I never smelled anything or heard the pump as much. smile.gif I loved listening to my music instead of the ugly loud compressor lol

450

I did get another can of paint and will probably get another can of the gloss clear coat so that will put me way over budget frown.gif but it will be worth it

450

Mobo tray

450

PSU bottom (i'll post a pic of the top later)

450

Shroud

450

Here's the texture of the case and it's a little rough like the powdercoating but I wanted it to be that way smile.gif It turned out really well and I didn't have any bad sanding to do or anything

450

I also sprayed my otterbox for my droid charge

700

Fan controller

450

Mobo reseated with heatsinks

700

Ram was painted also

450

Front pieces to the case

700

Oh that nasty old sleeving

700

And just some fun with the camera

700

700

Hopefully I can clear coat everything this week and get the final touches on the loop and get my pc back up and running. I'm on gaming withdrawl and it sucks bad frown.gif

Very clean work! A very clean workspace as well.

The case looks great, and I'm sure the clear will set it off even more. Those heatinks and ram look awesome too!

Was the MOBO tray riveted? Did you have to drill any out?

Nice work man, can't say it enough! thumb.gif

Yeah it was riveted in place but only on at the back. I just drilled out three rivets and removed three screw sand then it slid out of place. There are slots on the back that the tray slides into so its still secure back there and there are little slide-into slots on the bottom and top and finally the three screws that secure to the drive bays. Idk whycorsair didn't put that into the original plans because it is such a selling feature and it was stupid simple. Even if I bought one brand new I would drill out the rivets and have the better functionality. There are a few things on the case that I wish I could have done better but I don't exactly have the money and I'm already over budget by about $50 because of the paint and clear coat. frown.gif but overall I'm super happy and proud that I've do.e this much just by asking questions and looking at stuff on the forums. smile.gif
