I hope these release dates are true. Most likely not, but it would be nice :/

Most recent news (also in the Haddware News section of OCN) further confirming April release. However I'm not sure I'd take that chart with a grain of salt because one thing Nvidia's CEO has said publicly is this will be a hard launch only. Also stated would not be released until all it's AIB partners would be satisfied with stock.

Confirmed: NVIDIA GeForce Kepler GK104 Coming In April

Edited to add: One good thing about Nvidia making sure all AIB partners are taken care of is despite low yields all vendors will have enough supply on hand already at launch to meet consumer demands and won't be a slow trickle of inventory constantly being available. No selling out quickly and having to wait for restocking. Hopefully this extra time has also given Nvidia the opportunity to put out a finished polished product without driver issues like AMD is having.

700w lol

I dont think that info is correct. 550W should be the max but you never know.

We have 28nm chips now right? i thought those cards required less power.

Despite Maximum Tech said yesterday that GK104 will be delayed to April, a few big AIC partners' CEO responded in their Chinese blogs that it will come sometime this month (March).  Zotac's Bruce Kong (Asia Pacific CEO) is more specific to say GK104 comes in March and their stock/inventory is ready.  Galaxy's Alex Lam (China Division CEO) simply said there are many thing to happen in March and he is looking forward to them.

Can't believe the GTX 660 Ti has better specs then my GTX 580. eek.gif

Actual finalized data and reviews should be quite interesting.

If that is the case

5xx cards will at least be half the price of what they are now

or

6xx cards will be so expensive that people will lean towards SLIing 5xx cards.

I just cant find it realistic that even a 670 will outperform my 590.

I mean it can if it is more expensive than 590 of course but than whom would buy these cards in a global scale?
